Middelburg

A private company operates a container loading and off-loading facility at the east end of the station. Many of the products loaded are received from the stainless steel producer by road.

Nelspruit

One of the two manganese processing plants load containers at the Spoornet yard facility. Inbound traffic such as sugar is also received in containers and transferred to road for final delivery.
